Job purpose

The Area Sales Supervisor will establish and control AeH’s field-sales and clinic-referral business system for assigned Dhanak Clinics and BGAs. The position is accountable for micro-territory allocation, route discipline, doorstep commodity sales, customer-pipeline growth, verified clinic referrals, service redemption, repeat business, stock and cash reconciliation, field coaching, corrective action, and reliable commercial reporting to AeH management. The Supervisor will support AeH’s accountability to AHKF by maintaining verifiable performance evidence.

Principal duties and responsibilities

  1. Support transparent sourcing, screening, assessment, selection, induction, deployment, and replacement of BGAs.
  2. Benchmark assigned Dhanak Clinics, including location, provider availability, operating hours, referral acceptance, current client volume, stock status, and product movement.
  3. Map clinic catchments and allocate practical BGA routes within approximately 1.5 kilometers of assigned clinics, avoiding unnecessary overlap.
  4. Translate approved venture milestones into clinic-, cluster-, and BGA-level monthly targets for doorstep unit sales, sales value, new customers, repeat sales, referrals, clinic arrival, service redemption, follow-up, and reporting.
  5. Lead morning dispatch, route review, stock checks, and evening reconciliation according to the command-and-control schedule.
  6. Conduct planned and surprise field spot checks, accompanied visits, household verification, and clinic verification.
  7. Obtain and document weekly provider confirmation of referred-client arrival, service redemption, method or service provided, products used, and follow-up needs.
  8. Reconcile BGA reports with clinic redemption records, stock movement, product returns, cash/fee records, provider or pharmacy updates, and AeH dashboard entries.
  9. Analyze performance; identify weak BGAs, clinics, routes, and stock points; issue documented coaching and corrective-action plans.
  10. Recommend recognition, incentive approval, warning, reassignment, replacement, suspension, or separation based on verified evidence and delegated authority.
  11. Identify potential non-DKT providers and pharmacies for assessment and onboarding; maintain an expansion pipeline.
  12. Escalate stockouts, leakage, fraud indicators, coercion, adverse events, complaints, confidentiality breaches, and safeguarding risks immediately.
  13. Submit concise daily sales updates and complete weekly and monthly business-performance reports to AeH management for onward accountability to AHKF.
  14. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, public health, social sciences, management, or a related field. Strong relevant commercial field experience may be considered in lieu of the preferred qualification.
  15. At least three years of relevant field-sales, community activation, health outreach, distribution, or team-supervision experience. experience supervising women field workers is preferred.
  16. FMCG product sales marketing, and have own motorcycle with proper driving license.
  17. Demonstrated ability in sales target management, route planning, field verification, stock control, coaching, and performance reporting.
  18. Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel, mobile reporting applications, dashboards, messaging tools, and basic data review.
  19. Strong communication in Urdu, relevant local language ability is an advantage.
  20. Valid ability to travel regularly across assigned Karachi locations using safe and lawful transport arrangements.
  21. Entrepreneurial and commercial discipline combined with respect for informed choice, confidentiality, safeguarding, and noncoercive service delivery.

Minimum qualifications and experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales, public health, social sciences, management, or a related field. Strong relevant commercial field experience may be considered in lieu of the preferred qualification.
  2. At least three years of relevant field-sales, community activation, health outreach, distribution, or team-supervision experience. experience supervising women field workers is preferred.
