Established in 1991, Shifa Foundation, a sister organization of Shifa International Hospitals Ltd., Islamabad, is a Not-for-Profit organization working in the areas of health, nutrition, and safe water for underserved communities in Pakistan. The Community-Level Lead Exposure Source Assessment and Awareness Initiative is being implemented by Shifa Foundation to identify potential sources and pathways of lead exposure within targeted communities of Rawalpindi. As part of the project, environmental samples will be collected from households and surrounding environments to assess potential sources of lead exposure and generate evidence to support community awareness and risk reduction measures. Shifa Foundation invites quotations from qualified environmental laboratories for the testing and analysis of Lead (Pb) in environmental samples.

Scope of Services

The selected laboratory will be required to analyze environmental samples provided by Shifa Foundation. The samples may include:

• Water
• Soil
• Paint chips
• Household utensils
• Ceramics and other household materials
• Cosmetics
• Dust
• Spices
• Other potential sources of lead exposure identified during field assessments

Shifa Foundations will provide Samples.

·        Only sealed quotations will be accepted, last date of quotation submission on 17^th September 2026, after due date will not be accepted.

·        Delivery of Services as and when required after conformation of Purchase order.

·        Quoted rates should be inclusive of all charges.

·        Quoted rates should be inclusive of all applicable Government taxes.

·        Quoted rates should be valid till four weeks.

·        Invoice should mention the Income Tax number / CNIC of supplier.

·        All or some of above-mentioned Services will be requested through purchase order on need basis.

·        Payment will be made within 20 working days after receiving the invoice/bill.

·        Duration of the activity is from September to November 2026.

·        Payment will be made through cross cheque in favour the company/business
