Role Overview

As an Occupational Therapy Fellow, you will help patients develop, recover, improve, as well as maintain skills needed for daily living and working. You will work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities, providing them with the tools and techniques to lead independent and productive lives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardized assessments to evaluate a patient's motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive function, and ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

• Develop and implement individualized therapeutic intervention plans to improve coordination, fine motor skills, and social emotional regulation.

• Provide specialized therapy for patients with sensory processing disorders, particularly in pediatric or neurodevelopmental cases.

• Recommend and train patients and caregivers on the use of adaptive equipment, such as wheelchairs, eating aids, or dressing tools.

• Evaluate patient environments and suggest modifications to improve accessibility and safety.

• Maintain detailed clinical notes and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic patient care.

Requirements

• Education: BS 4 years in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized university.

• Strong clinical internship or prior experience in a rehab setting is highly preferred.

• Age Limit: 24–35 years.

• Patience and strong emotional intelligence for working with diverse patient groups.

• Excellent observational and problem solving skills.

• Expertise in therapeutic exercises and neuro-rehabilitation techniques.
