Job Overview

The Audiology Fellow will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with hearing and balance disorders. The role requires proficiency in audiological evaluation techniques, patient management, and the ability to provide rehabilitative care using evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audiological assessments and diagnostic tests for patients with hearing or balance disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Monitor patient progress and update clinical records accurately
• Fit and manage hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive devices
• Educate patients and caregivers on hearing care, device usage, and auditory training
• Collaborate with ENT specialists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety, and ethical standards
• Participate in case discussions, workshops, and professional development sessions

 Requirements

• MBBS with 1 year house job in a relevant discipline, OR BS Hearing Sciences / Audiology (04 years) from a university recognized/equivalent by the Higher Education Commission
• Minimum 01 year of relevant experience in audiology
• Age limit: 24 to 35 years
• Proficiency in audiological testing (pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, OAE, ABR, etc.)
• Strong patient assessment and counseling skills
• Knowledge of hearing rehabilitation techniques and assistive devices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities
• Ethical and patient-centered approach
