Position Objective: To provide technical and operational support for the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of a multi sectoral integrated project across health facilities in Balochistan. The role ensures quality service delivery in health, nutrition, and MHPSS through strong coordination, community engagement, and compliance with organizational and donor requirements.

Relevant Experience: Master’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or relevant field. Minimum 04 years of overall experience and 02 years in relevant field in development sector OR Bachelor's degree in relevant field with minimum 06 years overall experience with 04 years in relevant field in development sector. Proven experience in health and community based programming. Strong experience in stakeholder coordination, reporting, and field operations.

Job Description:

MISSION 1: ENSURE EFFECTIVE PROJECT PLANNING, IMPLEMENTATION, COORDINATION, AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities across all target locations, ensuring alignment with approved plans and timelines.
  • Contribute to the development of work plans, reports, and activity schedules to facilitate structured implementation and tracking of progress.
  • Monitor progress against project targets and ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
  • Maintain strong coordination with the Department of Health, district authorities, NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, and community representatives to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of project activities.
  • Facilitate district level coordination meetings and ensure timely follow up of agreed action points to strengthen accountability and implementation.
  • Strengthen linkages across health, nutrition, and protection sectors to ensure integrated and cohesive service delivery.
  • Support the functionality and management of supported health facilities to ensure quality service provision and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with implementing partners to maintain consistency, coordination, and quality in project delivery.
  • Support the planning and organization of mobile health camps across the three districts of Quetta, Pishin, and Killa Saifullah.
  • Ensure that mobile health camps are initiated as per the approved plan and implemented in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Support the delivery of field level services and assist in outreach activities across health, nutrition, and MHPSS sectors to ensure integrated service provision.
  • Strengthen referral pathways across all sectors, including Health, Nutrition, and MHPSS, and ensure effective facilitation and tracking of referrals.
  • Support in the establishment of the Provincial MHPSS Technical Working Group and ensure active coordination with all relevant departments involved.
  • Organize monthly meetings of the MHPSS Provincial Technical Working Group in strong coordination with the Department of Health and other relevant departments/members.
  • Supervise outreach activities through the Health & Nutrition Officer and Community Health Workers (CHWs) to ensure effective field implementation.
  • Strengthen community level referral and service uptake mechanisms, ensuring identification, screening, and referral of SAM children at both community and health facility levels.
  • Support community based interventions such as awareness sessions and supervise relevant staff in proper record keeping and management.
  • Promote the inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities and the aged, to ensure equitable access to services.
  • Organize monthly meetings with community elders to strengthen engagement and gain support for outreach activities.

MISSION 2: PROVIDE INTEGRATED TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT 

  • Support the delivery of field level services and assist in outreach activities across health, nutrition, and MHPSS sectors to ensure integrated service provision.
  • Strengthen referral pathways across all sectors, including Health, Nutrition, and MHPSS, and ensure effective facilitation and tracking of referrals.

Mission 3: Ensure monitoring, reporting, compliance, safeguarding, and operational support

  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits and provide technical feedback
  • Prepare timely progress reports highlighting achievements and challenges
  • Integrate protection principles across all project activities
  • Promote safeguarding and PSEA standards
  • Ensure safe, respectful, and dignified beneficiary engagement
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and compliance mechanisms
  • Coordinate field logistics and operational arrangements
  • Ensure successful execution of project related events and campaigns

Mission 4: Ensure compliance with organization’s gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies on Child Protection, Safeguarding, and PSEAH.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive data.
  • Promote gender equity, inclusion, and child protection sensitivity in all KM practices.
  • Ensure that data systems reflect the needs of diverse staff and beneficiaries

Skills Required

  • Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
  • Strong knowledge of health, nutrition, and MHPSS programming
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and PSEA standards
  • Experience in community engagement and outreach approaches
  • Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in monitoring, reporting, and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English, Urdu, and Pashto
  • Stakeholders management and coordination skills
