Job Summary
CARE is seeking qualified and experienced applicants to fill the following position in its Country Office – Islamabad.
T Support
Job Responsibilities and Tasks: (80% of Time)
• Provide remote or in-person IT support to field offices as needed, including setting up
networks and troubleshooting on-site
• Migrate all the users accounts to Microsoft EMS with L2 and L3 license.
• Continual monitoring of the network and systems to ensure security and functionality, with the ability to troubleshoot issues proactively
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on-site or remotely
• Apply security updates and ensure systems are compliant with internal IT policies
• Handling of sensitive organizational information with restricted access to confidential data as per organizational protocols
• Train staff on new software, equipment, and security policies to ensure smooth operations across the organization
• Manage IT inventory, ensuring that hardware and software assets are tracked and maintained properly.
• Communication with the regional ICT colleagues to share challenges and learn about the region's best practices which may help CO in the specific areas
• Provided support in managing CARE's website and social media accounts and campaigns
• Make recommendations to the country management and the global IT & Data Team for continuous improvement of system architecture.
• Frequent visit to field offices
Administrative Support (20% of Time)
• Coordinate and report on activities and required resources to ensure cost efficient and quality service delivery from administrative support functions.
• Coordinate the efficient use of CP assets and rented facilities.
• Help identify safety issues and ensuring a safe and sound work environment.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
• Onsite asset management and tagging of inventoried assets and submit an updated report on a quarterly basis.
A) Qualifications (Know How)
Required
Bachelor’s degree with Professional diploma/Certificate or courses in IT is preferred.Desired
B) Experience/ Technical Skills
Two years’ experience working in an office environment
Experience with a local or international NGO a plus
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
• Ability to extensively travel for project monitoring and provide on-site technical support to field teams.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiation and capacity building.
• Fluency in English and Urdu (written and spoken); fluency in other local language will be an added advantage.
• Excellent computer skills (MS office).
Preferred:
Experience of working with INGOs will be preferred.
