The ICRC is seeking a skilled and proactive “Technical Worker” to ensure the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of its offices, residences, and warehouse facilities. The candidate must possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure all ICRC premises remain safe, functional, and operationally effective.
Main Responsibilities: The Technical worker is responsible for all maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical and premises, according to ICRC standards in all ICRC premises of PES sub-delegation, under the guidance of the Finance & Administration department in PES SD. The position holder will be responsible for the following tasks.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, identifying repair needs, and ensuring compliance with ESAP (Electrical Safety Action Plan) standards.
- Maintaining and repairing electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and air-conditioning systems, as well as servicing equipment such as ACs, UPS, refrigerators, water dispensers, and coffee machines.
- Managing electrical wiring, lighting, and networking systems; inspecting fire safety and emergency equipment; and maintaining accurate records of tools, inventories, and maintenance activities.
- Maintaining close coordination with external service providers (PESCO, SNGPL, WSSP, PTCL, Nayatel, Storm Fiber, etc.) to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Main Requirements:
- Secondary school certificate
- Relevant certificate or diploma from a recognized technical institute (electrician/technician)
- Minimum 05 years of relevant experience as an Electrician/Technician or similar position
- Experience in electrical system installation, protection, and electric safety systems, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations is required
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Knowledge of spoken and written English
