Focused on “Solar Technologies” the company has been operating in the public and private sectors for nearly 13 years.  QRI maintains its head office in Islamabad and branch offices in KP and Punjab. Geographically the company is well positioned to work in all four provinces of Pakistan, Islamabad Capital Territory, AJK, and Gilgit Baltistan.

We are currently looking for dynamic professionals to assist with business development and technical backstopping of our on-going projects. The position is based in Islamabad with a need based travel to other locations across Pakistan.

Qualification Requirements

  • B.S Electrical Engineer
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in solar technologies and management.
  • The ideal candidate should have preferably worked as a “practicing engineer “in the solar industry with knowledge of design, procurement, installation, marketing and management.
  • Prior experience with public and private sector contracting would be an added qualification and preferred. 

 

Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with design teams to create efficient and effective solar energy solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine optimal solar installations.
  •  Take the lead role in opportunity screening in all provinces/ regions/ICT and making recommendations on go/ no go decisions.
  • ⁠Lead networking and partnership building with suitable organization in the solar sector to pursue partnerships/ associations/ JVs.
  •  ⁠Advise the company management on all MOUs, contract agreements, sub-contracts, JV drafts and other business arrangements on a project by project basis. 
  •  Participate in national/ provincial business forums to represent QRI Pvt Ltd
  • ⁠Lead QRI registrations with relevant regulatory s d licensing bodies.
  • Lead the coordination and submission of all bids to various clients; necessary follow ups and contract negotiations.
  • ⁠Lead all communications with partners and resolution of business issues for all on-going/ new projects.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize regular team meetings to review progress and address concerns.
  • Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Manage procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources, minimizing waste and delays.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including obtaining necessary permits.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to prevent project delays.
  • Maintain contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and feedback, ensuring satisfaction and project alignment.
  • Oversee the commissioning and start-up of projects, ensuring they operate as expected and meet performance guarantees.
  • Based at Peshawar with potential travel and need based assignment to other duty stations as per QRI needs and priorities.
  •  Willingness to travel to Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurately maintained. various project sites as required.
  • Full-time position with occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
