Project: Access to Climate Security and Environmental Justice in Gwadar, Balochistan
Reporting To: Project Manager
Project Duration: 7 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project financial, administrative, logistical, procurement, travel, and operational requirements in accordance with approved procedures and budget.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including vouchers, invoices, receipts, payments, expenditure records, and budget utilization.
- Support preparation and monitoring of project budgets, cash forecasts, expenditure tracking, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate logistics for project meetings, consultations, workshops, field activities, travel, venues, supplies, and other events.
- Maintain proper administrative and financial documentation and project records for audit and reporting purposes.
- Prepare periodic financial updates and support the Project Manager in monitoring budget performance and expenditure against approved activities.
- Prepare/coordinate project completion financial reports and financial analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support procurement and contracting processes and maintain relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, donor, and project financial and administrative requirements.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or Humanities.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial, administrative, event, travel, logistics, and operations management.
- Experience managing finance and administration for development, governance, stabilization, or community-based projects involving communities and government institutions.
- Excellent skills in financial recording, budgeting, expenditure tracking, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing project completion financial reports and financial analysis.
- Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and financial record-keeping systems.
- Prior experience in donor/UN/INGO-funded projects will be an advantage.
