1. PREAMBLE

Established in 1863, the international committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a neutral and independent organization providing humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence and other situations of violence. Based on the permanent mandate conferred to it by the international law, the ICRC acts im partially in Favor of prisoners, wounded and sick, and civilians affected by armed conflict. ICRC is the founding member of the Red Crescent and Red Cross International Movement. We collaborate closely with our partners from the Movement the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross societies and Red Crescent and Red Cross-National Societies, who intervene in 190 countries. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the ICRC employs some 20 000 people in more than 90 coun tries; it is funded mainly by voluntary donations from governments and from Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies.

2. THE PURPOSE OF THIS REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

The ICRC is inviting qualified and experienced vehicle rental service providers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the provision of vehicle rental services to support its field operations across Pakistan.

The requirement is divided into the following six geographical Lots:

• Lot 1: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT)
• Lot 2: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including former FATA areas
• Lot 3: Punjab
• Lot 4: Sindh
• Lot 5: Balochistan
• Lot 6: Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB)

Interested service providers may express their interest in one or more Lots, provided they have the required operational capacity and geographical coverage.

The anticipated contractual arrangement is a Fixed-Price Framework Agreement for an initial period of two (2) years, with the possibility of an extension of up to one additional year, subject to mutual written agreement and satisfactory performance.

Interested companies are requested to review the attached Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) and submit the required information and supporting documentation in accordance with the stated requirements.
